Today I went to our factory to inspect the shipping cargo, which will be delivery at this end of weekend. This article is very important as it had been complained once before about its bad workmanship and dirty stain on it. Many parts of garments are not clean and proper made, Like outside threads, double seam. Our quality control charger also stay there to make sure this ship will be in a good condition!

I, as a representative of company, went there for inspecting whether the quality is under our control. The owner of this factory has lost her faith just because she has been fined for almost u.s.d 2000 this year due to dirty workmanship or delay for the shipment. She just gave up for the after finishing supervising for our article. She said our standard is too high to reach.  The labor cost is getting higher and higher, the material is increasing more than expecting, but the target price of sale doesn’t enhance, it’s the same as years ago. The owner couldn't help but only cut down the quality to maintain the living expense and salary for workers.

When I got there, I still found many threads showed outside obviously, especially on the darts of front and back. 7 of 10 shirts I inspected have this problem which is a really huge fault. I informed my manager right away via skype video call and record the whole skype conversation. We need to take a quick action to prevent the client complaint things happen.

Under our strict supervising, the factory has to recheck the garments over again, which means they may stay up all night to finish the cargo until it would be delivered to the port.

What a tough day, we need to save this recorder to avoid accidents.

It’s a national holiday for U.S.A, give all friends my best wishes. Happy national day!!!

At that day, I was planning to have a skype call to my American friends and express my greatings. I was using a mobile device with my microphone. when I called they was watching a firework show. It was just amazing!!! This reminded me of the time that I stayed in U.S.A for travel ling program. Everyone was so happy to celebrate the holiday, to cheer up for the independence of United States on year 1776. No matter who knows or never know before, people get together around the lawn, like a picnic party, bring the food, popcorn, hamburger, salad,ect, sitting and chatting, more interesting, is the performance.

Many local bureaus has the budget to plan the grand performance show for people to watch. Like inviting band to sing, or play instrument, dancing. The spectator will follow the players do every interesting things. It’s a traditional way to celebrate the holiday in western countries.

I still remember that we drunk a bit at night. ahahah, I was not grow up that day, drinking is not allowed in the law, but who cares, it was a big day for chasing freedom, and enjoying the environment.

It was an unforgettable memory in my life. I would appreciate the experience which broaden my mind, keep my eyes open for the big world. Furthermore, it affect me the value in my deep down heart.

I keep the call recorded and I would come back there again if I have the chance! I would like to visit friends again to see how they are going well and the view I love most!

drawing teach course

It’s so hot lately！！！around 38℃ everyday！！！ I feel like I am stay in a natural steamer. The sun light is so hot, seeming to burn my skin. But I just start my summer course few days ago. When I was got my tutor’s house, I was wet through!!! I ‘m interested in painting, especially cartoon. I have watched plenty of Japanese cartoons when I am in high school, such as Detective Conan, Spirited Away, One Piece, Naruto, ect….

So I take my leisure time to ask a cartoon teacher who can teach me how to draw. However the weather is that I couldn’t bear. So I suggest that if I could learn the class at home through Skype, and my tutor say yes with pleasure.

We start the course on skype, and I make a skype video call to help me recording the draw way, draw details that I can resee the video after course. The video is good quality with clear sound and high digital picture. I can see every step about the process of drawing, eyes, cheek, hair…every piece make up of a lifetime character. It’s like a magic that a cartoon character just show up in front of your eyes so quickly. Amazing!!!

And my tutor is so cute that he said if I post his teaching online, would he be famous and would more students he has? Ahah, I want to make his kidding come true, and I would like to see whether there is many people out there like me who is interested in drawing pictures. I would like to make friends with them.

As we all know China is one of the world’s biggest textile countries which export much fabric, garments every year to USA, European. However, as the increasing labor cost, wage inflation, labor shortage, a shift to higher-value manufactured products have made China less attractive than Bangladesh as a source for garments.

I just saw a news today said “Drawn by the lower costs, even Chinese garment businesses are moving to Bangladesh.”. One representative of China appeal company, Cherry wu said, his boss used to own a manufactory in China with 3,000 workers 10 years ago, but now it employs just 200 there and 2,500 in Bangladesh.
So once time we decided to move factory to Bangladesh, but we are not familiar with the working atmosphere, the production condition and most important, the price. We contact with one factory owner on skype through our friends who stay in Bangladesh as a representative in other apparel company. On the call the owner said he has 2 garment factories, both if which employee at least 3000 stuffs, keeping excellent facilities, safe work place to make sure every stuff can enjoy its work hours here. We recorded our conversation on this remotely record Skype. At that time, we was so excited to plan to have a investigate in Bangladesh.

Unfortunately, when we arrived there, the working condition is very tough. Female workers are pushed to overtime for sewing garments. And the building where they stay is not safe at not, we barely see the EMERGENCY EXITS, and the FIRST AID BOXES. What we saw in manufactory upset us, and not even close to what he said in skype call. fortunately, we had the recorder as an evidence. Finally, we had to look around to search for another better factory.

With the binding connection of world is getting much closer, plenty of parents send their children to go aboard for future study. Especially Chinese people can be seen all around in my city. This girl is strong and persevering. She does a part –time job during the nighttime, and she gains the scholarship each semester, to make sure she can support her life on her own. She had a dream that she must do a better life for her whole family. I am impressed by her tough faith, and do everything I can to help her.
