Today I went to our factory to inspect the
shipping cargo, which will be delivery at this end of weekend. This article is
very important as it had been complained once before about its bad workmanship
and dirty stain on it. Many parts of garments are not clean and proper made, Like
outside threads, double seam. Our quality control charger also stay there to
make sure this ship will be in a good condition!
I, as a representative of company, went
there for inspecting whether the quality is under our control. The owner of
this factory has lost her faith just because she has been fined for almost u.s.d
2000 this year due to dirty workmanship or delay for the shipment. She just
gave up for the after finishing supervising for our article. She said our
standard is too high to reach. The labor
cost is getting higher and higher, the material is increasing more than
expecting, but the target price of sale doesn’t enhance, it’s the same as years
ago. The owner couldn't help but only cut down the quality to maintain the
living expense and salary for workers.
When I got there, I still found many threads
showed outside obviously, especially on the darts of front and back. 7 of 10
shirts I inspected have this problem which is a really huge fault. I informed
my manager right away via skype video call and record the whole skype
conversation. We need to take a quick action to prevent the client complaint
things happen.
Under our strict supervising, the factory
has to recheck the garments over again, which means they may stay up all night
to finish the cargo until it would be delivered to the port.
What a tough day, we need to save this
recorder to avoid accidents.
